Respect for human rights is a fundamental value of OOkyanus Socks SANAYİ VE TİCARET ANONİM ŞİRKETİ We strive to conduct our activities in accordance with the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights in our relationships with our employees, suppliers, business partners, and the communities in which we operate, and to encourage them to be sensitive to this issue. This Policy is based on the International Bill of Rights, the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) 1998 Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the United Nations Global Compact, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, which are included in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This policy applies to Okyanus Socks, our businesses, and the facilities we manage. Okyanus Socks also expects, encourages, and commits to incorporating these principles into agreements with its suppliers and business partners. We take the necessary care to identify and prevent human rights risks affecting individuals in our business and the communities we engage with as part of our business risks. If we identify negative human rights impacts arising from our commercial activities, we commit to providing fair and reasonable remediation or collaborating on remediation. If we are connected to or involved in such negative impacts due to our relationships with third parties, we strive to ensure that the situation is remedied.

Ocean Socks has committed to adhering to the six (6) core principles of the United Nations Global Compact. These core principles are: Minimizing Water Use in Direct Operations, Supply Chain and Watershed Management, Collaboration, Public Policy, Community Engagement, and Transparency.

Okyanus Socks commits to complying with applicable labor and employment laws wherever we operate. Okyanus Socks also ensures that employees are aware of the Human Rights Policy through training and annual certification processes.
Any employee who believes there is a conflict between the language of this policy and the laws, customs, or practices of the location where they work, who has questions about this policy, or who wishes to confidentially report a potential violation of this policy should communicate their questions and concerns to their Supervisor or Human Resources. Employees may also report suspected policy violations by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling 0507 076 14 50. No retaliation or adverse action will be taken against any employee who reports concerns under this policy. The Company will investigate employee concerns, respond to them, and take appropriate corrective actions in response to any violations.
